Joanne has been singing with the Hopewell Valley Chorus for four years, has been the soprano section leader for 3 years, and now serves as Vice-President of the board. Joanne has studied instrumental and vocal music since age 8. As an instrumentalist, she has played multiple instruments in orchestras and bands, but the cello was her primary focus. As a vocalist, she performed with choirs, small ensembles, and in musical theater for many years.
Joanne is a Speech-Language Pathologist currently working in a private school with children in grades 1-12. While she doesn’t teach music, she is passionate about giving children a voice.
When not singing, Joanne loves to spend time with her six adult daughters and her grandson. She also enjoys gardening and other hobbies.
