Terry was born and raised on Boston’s South Shore, moved to New Jersey in 1979, and has lived in Flemington for the past 34 years. She and her husband have two adult children and two granddaughters. She was a teacher of Special Education, 5th grade, and Adult Education for 34 years and retired in 2020. Along with singing she enjoys walking, yoga, book club, taking on-line classes, and volunteering. Singing around the piano was a family tradition growing up and recapturing the joy of singing through the Hopewell Valley Chorus keeps her spirit enriched and life engaged.
This will be Terry’s 15th year singing with the chorus (as 2nd soprano). She previously served on the Board as HVC’s President for four years (2015-2018).
