Holly joined the Hopewell Valley Chorus in the spring of 2026 and sings tenor. Although she had not sung in a chorus since middle school, she rediscovered how much she loved singing after joining her school’s faculty chorus the previous winter. Her musical résumé also includes playing the clarinet—though not since 1982.
Holly cannot read music, which she hopes will reassure anyone who loves to sing but worries they don’t have enough musical training to join a chorus. With some listening, practice, and help from the people around her, she has managed to navigate HVC just fine.
When she is not singing or serving as Rehearsal Manager, Holly teaches history and economics and enjoys cycling, traveling, and reading on the beach.
